Trafa collects and processes personal data via the website www.trafa.nl. Potential clients can use the contact page to fill in their personal data to inquire about specific business information. Personal data also reaches us and is being handed over through other channels and other ways.
Trafa B.V. considers it important to treat personal data with extreme care. The personal data you have left with us or sent to us will always be carefully processed and secured. We process (collect, use, disclose…) personal data in accordance with the “Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming” (AVG) based on the “EU regulation 2016/679 of the European parliament and of the councel”. This means the following:

Personal data we process
Trafa B.V. processes personal data of contacts who use our services and purchase our products in accordance with the contract terms between your organization/company or the organization/company you are under contract for. We also process personal data you otherwise have provided us yourself as well as personal data we are required to have by law. We may collect and process the following personal data:
- a name and surname
- a home address
- a phone number
- an email address
- preferences for specific services or products
The information above is only processed if there is a legitimate interest. A few examples:
- information needed for the performance of a contract
- to establish a contact through the contactform on the website
- a request for information
Additional personal data can be processed (such as birth dates and BSN numbers) if this is legitimately required by regulations or by performance of a contract.
You may withdraw your consent to process your personal data as mentioned above at any time. As soon as your consent (to process your personal data) is withdrawn, your personal data will no longer be processed except for the data needed for the performance of a contract. In this case, we will inform you and discuss the matter with you. However, with the withdrawl of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing of the personal data prior to the withdrawl. You are entitled to officially object to certain kinds of processing regarding the personal data. As a rule, we will generally respond to your objection within 14 days. We will not store your personal data for a longer period of time than is necessary for the specific purpose you provided the data. This means that if you provided us your data to get back to you regarding a specific question or request, we will delete the data shortly after you have been contacted. We will only hold on to the data if specifically agreed. Some personal data require a retention period in this case the data will be efficiently erased at the end of the retention periods.
Your data will be stored on servers within the European Union until they are deleted. If data is stored outsite the European Union we will make sure that those servers offer at least the same (European) data security guarantees.
The special and / or sensitive personal data
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect personal data of website visitors who are younger than 16 years old. However, we can not check if a visitor is older than 16. Therefor we request additional permission from parents/guardians when we receive personal data from people under the age of 16. We will immediately delete the specific data if the requested permission is not received in 48 hours. We encourage parents to be involved at all times in the online activities of their children to prevent data of their children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without the parental or guardian’s permission, please contact us via email@example.com. We will delete the information immediately.
Share personal data with third parties
Trafa B.V. does not sell your personal information to third parties and will only share it with others if necessary for the performance of our mutual agreement or to comply with a legal obligation. For example by request of a judge or other competent authority.
In some cases we use third parties (auxiliary persons/companies) to support us in carrying out certain activities. If these parties are given access to your personal data, it will be done with parties who will handle your personal data with care and in accordance with the AVG. In essence we will not pass on any personal data to third parties outside the European Economic Area, unless adequate safeguards regarding your privacy – in accordance with the AVG – are granted. Trafa B.V. uses technical and functional cookies as well as analytical cookies which do not invade your privacy. Acces, modify or delete data
You have the right to request access to your personal data which we are processing. Moreover you can indicate whether you want your data altered or removed from our system. If by your knowledge the processed peronal data is not (longer) correct or complete, you can object to the processing by submitting a request to complete, rectify or delete the data. You can also request to limit the processing of your personal data or transfer the data to a third party. This last request will be granted as quickly as possible and will never exceed a 4 week period. A motivated explanation will be provided if we can not carry out the request.
